Ok, so I'm a mechanical engineer. When I was a senior, my partner and I had to give a presentation on a project we had been working on for the past few weeks. I remember stuttering badly through the whole thing. Nobody cared. I think they all thought it was because engineering student = not good at this kind of stuff. Which was fine with me. I still got my degree. When it comes to work stuff early in my career, I really didn't give a lot of presentations. I'd be surprised if you were asked to. Mostly you'll be doing the grunt work and providing input to your manager so they can make the presentation. They might -- might -- ask you a question at an important meeting to clear something up. But don't forget that as you get older, you'll get more comfortable and likely more confident around your colleagues. They will hear you stutter. So when the day comes to give part of a presentation, you'll probably feel ok beforehand. And you'll likely see more smiling faces. Good luck -- www.helloistutter.com
