Tbh no I don’t tell anyone, I stutter and idk what their reaction is because most people never really give me a “wtf look”, it’s always just a deadpan look or them leaning in to understand what i’m trying to say. I say I stutter if I have to, like if I have to do a video/podcast assignment, i’ll let the prof/teacher know beforehand so they don’t like it’s just anxiety (mine is more casual than anxiety-based, def gets worse with anxiety tho). Like for one-time interactions (like ordering food for example), you don’t need to explain to anyone. But if you’re making potential long-term relationships, I don’t think it’s necessary but it’s nice to like give them a heads up.
