Well I guess I've never heard of taking thiamine (vitamin B-1) as a treatment for stuttering, but I've been googling it just now. If it works, more power to you. But I'll remain skeptical for the moment. It seems like something so simple. There's no hurt in trying it though. I just looked at the daily multivitamin I take and it only has 1.35 mg of Thiamine, most of the regiments suggest 300 mg a day, which is a mega dose, but I don't think it poses a health risk at all. It's a shame that there isn't more research on stuttering. People haven't even nailed down a cause yet. It doesn't seem like there's much of an incentive to do it the way there is with other diseases.
