For a while social media filled that void but it wasn’t substantial. Eventually I just used sex to have social interactions yea I know toxic. When I got my first job at 19 I started enjoying my coworker interactions but quickly learned that’s all it was not real friends. Now in my 30s and only got a few solid friends and I’m okay with that. It took forever to create these connections so I don’t take them for granted.
