https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/stuttering/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20353577 > Although some medicines have been tried for stuttering, and studies continue, no medicines have been proved yet to help the condition. There aren’t any medications that list stuttering as one of its intended uses. Technically, you could get something off label that might help (things like clonidine, haloperidol, ambilify), but it’s rare that a doctor would prescribe something like this for a stutter. Cannabis helps me, and depending on where you are you could get a medical card, but that might not be ideal for you. In all honesty, I’ve stopped trying to fix my stutter. I get the anxiety, and I feel it too, but it helps to remember that most people are good people. And yeah some people might laugh at it at first, I usually just ask them what’s funny and make them feel bad. I also workout and train combat sports, so that helps my ego from getting shattered in normal conversations.
