Online speech therapy isn’t a scam as long as the platform uses real licensed SLPs. I have not used Expressable myself, but I know a few parents who had good experiences with it. For my kid, we tried Wellness Hub’s online speech therapy, and it actually worked well because the therapist coached me on what to do between sessions. That made the biggest difference. We also use the BASICS App for little 5 to 10 min daily practice at home, which helped keep things consistent. So yes, online therapy can absolutely help. Just make sure they give you structure and parent guidance, not just video calls.
