ADA covers handicaps and disabilities. Stuttering is covered as a disability. It's actually in the listings: Un-sustained speech, cause doesn't matter. I think employers still get a tax deduction for that. And they can not fire you for speech, especially if you admit that you have a disability. Anyway, I thought the question can't be asked in an interview or application (I'm not sure). If they ask what accommodations you require, you could write unknown or patients, etc. Checking yes could cause them to be more mindful of discrimination. Or maybe they are planning to discriminate. It could go both ways. Maybe try both things, so how it goes.
