I do what is called shaping practice in the morning which is speaking from a extremely slow rate to normal over the period of 20 minutes. I do this as soon as i wake up and do it while i get ready for work and shower. A bad day is one where i do the practice but it doesn't the same effect. Most of the time this is because i start to forget little things like a target or two (targets being specific things to think about when speaking). This always goes away after a day or two and just means that i need to focus more when speaking or do extra practice the next day. It makes me more calm and collected during a conversation. I know when i start that if i focus on my targets and speak slow and calmly that i can speak well. I really understand the 50% thing you said, and the biggest thing i like about the therapy is the fact that you gain power over your speech, and that is so huge for feeling good about your speech. I am a 3d Artsit and it is exactly what i've wanted to do. The program made interviews 100% less stressful and work life. if i have something important that day i can just do twice the amount of practice and my speech with almost always be good. How far along are you with the program?
