I do something similar but instead of deleting a letter i add an "A" to the beginning of it . for example if I were to say "thank you for calling mcalister's deli, how may i help you?" (I have to answer phone calls occasionally at work) I'd take a while to get that out so i say "aThank you for calling mcalister's deli, ahow may i help you?" the letter "A" never gives me issues so i never start he sentence with a stutter. It's strange stuff.
