I know the feeling. I grew up with an abusive father. Got no support at all. Only my mum accepted me. As immigrants, they didn't know there was treatment and support for stuttering, so I went my whole childhood without any speech therapy. Had they known what to do during my early years, I probably would have not had this stutter as an adult. It's been a lifelong struggle but I'm doing OK. Hang in there. It'll get easier.
