I've said it a few times before on this sub: There is what is called "The Heroic Dose", which usually is 5 grams dried psilocybin mushrooms. It's called Heroic Dose for a very, very specific reason. Now, the dose Paul Stamets took is, based on his own description, MANY times for than the 'normal' heroic dose. He took a HUGE load: 20 grams, approx. 5 grams is enough to 'blast you into the universe' and have a 'one on one with God' as people often say. 5 grams can already be insane. Yes, I believe he cured it through the accidental route of mushrooms, but I would never advise a person to take that much. I wouldn't even advise people to take 5. I'd like to rephrase this though. I don't think the mushrooms 'cured' him necessarily. Mushrooms are well known for their ability to show you what you need in order to move past fears and things standing in your life - things holding you back from being happy. I believe that most of us stutter due to fear, anxiety, in a very deep rooted sense. Like a trauma, deep rooted, which has become a pattern of speech/thinking. Mushrooms can have the ability to show you which things are holding you back and causing you to stutter. Mushrooms are well known for uncovering such things. They can show you your fears, your limiting beliefs, or whatever else, in order to help you live life to the fullest again. This could also mean it might be able to show you how that you need to accept your stutter and stop fighting it. It might show you different perspectives on your stutter. It might show you how to cure it, but it might also show you PEACE in accepting your stutter. The moment we resist this, things get dark, and people have bad experiences. Hope this helps. **Disclaimer:** Don't take 20 grams dried mushrooms. Don't take mushrooms as a quick fix. I do not advise anybody to take mushrooms, especially not under proper supervision of a very experienced person in the field of psychedelic 'healing'. Mushrooms often confront people with all sorts of hidden trauma and emotions that most people don't see coming during a trip. This catches them off guard, and they start to resist what is shown. This is usually the main reason for a 'bad trip': Resistance to what is shown.
