Before I went off to college I was the same way as you. In high school no one carried about my stutter I was fine with it. Going off to college I was scared and didn't want to stand out. For years my family and I talked about me getting the speech-easy before I went away for college. I ended up getting one that summer. I only used it a few times at school. Sucks wasted 6k on it. If my family every asks I say oh yeah I use it all the time. Just lies. But you will be fine. Every one is new as well, trying to make friends and all. Just own it, that's the only thing you can do. If you do pledge that turns into a huge bonding experience and then there all your brothers and won't care. Good luck !
