All I can tell you is, the younger the therapy starts, the better the chances to rework the speech pathways and learn the tools are. My daughter started stuttering around 3yrs old and her pediatrician told me not to bring attention to it and it would probably go away as she got older. It didn’t go away and I learned that therapy is always the better option regardless of age. I have also learned that specialized stuttering therapy usually has better outcomes than regular speech therapy. Good luck momma!!
