^^^^ this!! please do this first!! I had the speech easy, it did absolutely nothing for me since day one. I felt really bad for my mom, because she bought it for me. The person who did the fitting sort of guilt tripped us into. Saying things like "Well, it can help your son dont you want to take that chance!" to my mom and said stuff like "Dont you want your mom to see you fluent?" to me. It was all BS. It was just an annoying echo in my ear. I thought the following weeks sessions with the provider to learn new techniques would help with it. But they taught me techniques that were like middle school speech therapy tier. It was a complete waste of money, and we ended up selling it on ebay.
