The sincere comment really got me thinking. To me, having text ready isn't a "defeat." It’s more like an "amulet" or "tranquilizer" that keeps me calm. I’m wondering if this difference comes from our goals. Is the goal "regaining a healthy self"? Or is it just "establishing communication"? I feel like I separate my voice from my identity, so using a tool doesn't hurt my pride. But for those who see voice as their core identity, maybe relying on a tool feels like losing a part of themselves. Does this distinction make sense to you guys? I'm curious where you think this line between "failure" and "support" comes from.
