Communications. I'm a good writer because I want people to understand me even if I can't say all the things I want to. My bosses know I stutter. I'm fairly fluent but when I stutter, it sounds like I'm having a stroke. Better they know than people think something else is going on since it's not terribly frequent. I run meetings, I stutter, I block, not I get over it and move on. I work with leadership at a big company. They are too busy to dwell on my fluency... Thank goodness.
