Growing up, my parents and grandparents main focus is to find a "cure" for me at all costs. Every time I would stutter they would make a comment. Even though their intentions were good, this put anxiety and pressure on me to stop stuttering. They indirectly made me feel like I can't be a normal person just because I stutter. Don't make it about her stutter. The more you focus on it the more pressure she will put on herself because something is "wrong" with her. Take her to speech therapy, but don't pay any attention to her stutter. Better yet, somehow make it into a positive thing.
