Hey man, I'm sorry you've had some tough experiences. You deserve to be heard whether you hardly stutter at all or stutter on every word! I know it's hard to feel that when it seems like others around you believe that stuttered speech is inferior to fluent speech. I'm a stutterer and a speech therapist and have experienced some of the things you mentioned. If you live in the US (and I imagine this applies in other countries too?) you will (or at least you should) qualify for free speech therapy with a speech therapist at your school. It can be hit and miss on how much the therapist will know about stuttering (since it's one of the less common things they work with), but I would definitely ask a teacher about getting in touch with them or finding someone in your school district who is knowledgeable about stuttering. Usually this involves just being pulled out of class (or maybe meeting for a bit before or after school) with the therapist a couple times per month. I know that might feel a bit intimidating but if the therapist is up to date on recent stuttering research you may have a good experience. And since it's free you/your family wouldn't have to worry about any financial impact. I would definitely check out a few of these resources: SPACE to stutter - on instagram [https://www.youtube.com/@BlankCenterStuttering/featured](https://www.youtube.com/@BlankCenterStuttering/featured) \- This is a center for stuttering that posts lots of awesome videos of kids/teens/young adults speaking freely without fear of stuttering. National Stuttering Association - they have some cool resources too. I know that stuff may not feel super helpful in the short term. Stuttering can be really hard even when we try to accept it. I talk about stuttering all the time at work and in other settings and have spent years working to become completely comfortable as a stutterer, but still find myself wishing I didn't stutter in some situations. But by far the most growth I've had has come as I've become increasingly open with others about my experiences with stuttering and been willing to address misconceptions/stigma directly when they occur. Sorry if that's too much info for you but I feel for you man. Feel free to PM me if you'd like!
