Mindfulness. I was worrying too much about past events and what will happen in the future that I didn't even realize I was ignoring what was happening right now. Constantly worrying about what speaking situations you'll have to get into in the future is pointless, all you can do is work as hard as you can right now to improve your future. It's made me just accept the fact I have a stutter, which has given me more confidence to work on it. Everyone who tries it, and keeps it up says it benefits them. Head over to /r/meditation and /r/mindfulness. There's so much information there to get your started. It seems all "hippy" and a waste of time from a first glance. But it's been proven that it lowers activity in the frontal cortex which in turn will just make you happier, more confident and more content in yourself. It will seem like a lot of effort too at first, but it's more the opposite of effort. Just noticing what you're doing right now. Your breath is a very core part of you, concentrating on that, brings you back to the moment. Good luck, if you have any questions, feel free to reply. :)
