I cringe when people ask about techniques. A lot of the anecdotal failures I've observed in this sub focus on techniques. I was taught to speak fluently from ground up. Basic use of my voice. Beginning with single syllable speech. Developing and progressing from there. It was foundational. Layer upon layer. The SLP is a key component. They guided and controlled my progress. Sometimes taking me back a level or two when I started to progress 'off track' so as to not incorporate flawed speech into my new speech.
