I'm probably not the best person to give advice because I am still trying to accept my stutter but I feel I need to say something here. I recently gave a best man speech at my brother's wedding. I don't know if you want to do this but before I started the speech, I made it a point to express to my brother how honored I was to be chosen as Best man even though I had a stutter. This really transitioned well into the speech because I then said "it takes a special kind of heart to see through a person's flaws and see their trueselves and its with this kind of vision where you can find another with the same heart ( the bride). After that I told a story about me and my brother that has always been close to my heart. Then I mentioned how beautiful the bride was inside and out, and then welcomed her to the family. After that, I just expressed how happy I was for bride and groom. Ended with a toast wishing for long lasting love. Everybody in the room stood up and applauded. I had people coming up to me complimenting how much heart and humor was in my speech. I even had one person come up to me from the bride's side and say "I've been to several weddings in my lifetime and heard several speeches, but that has got to be the best, Best man speech I've ever heard. So much heart!" So the moral here is despite the stutter, show your good qualities. I showed mine even though I stuttered during the speech and every body saw it. Good luck!
