I’ve had my stutter since high school. The severity of it comes and goes, but there are a few things that help me. The most important thing for me is feeling confident. Easier said than done, right? But it’s why I always hear from my friends that they don’t notice my stutter. I’m cooler around them. How do you get confidence? For me, working out really helps. I haven’t worked out in a few months now and I’m starting to really feel my confidence getting low. I’m not that strong of a guy but lifting weights generally helps my self esteem. Besides that, if I’m going to a party or something and my social anxiety is up, having some CBD beforehand can really help me. It calms me down and makes me more relaxed. Social anxiety + a stutter is a rough combo.
