I took them for a year or so and felt I no longer needed them once my workload settled down and I could once again manage with other strategies for the anxiety and depression. I did not take them specifically for my stutter, and I can't say that I would ever want to be on a psychiatric medication for the sole purpose of helping my speech. Traditional speech therapy with someone who specializes in adults who stutter has done more than a pill ever could for me.
