In college, whenever I had to give a speech, I would always say, “Pardon me, but I do stutter,” and people would be fine with it. Sometimes if I’m talking to a girl, I’ll make a cute game out of it, and she may get a small laugh out of it. It’s whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
