Completely lost So i had an interview with this agency about some university applications they’re helping me with. (I’m 19) and I purposefully did not tell them about my stutter beforehand because I thought that its a useless piece of information to them. Telling the university about my stutter would make sense since they will need to interview me, however with the agency I did not see a need in that. So I join the meeting and answer a few questions such as my name, my age etc and the agency guy immediately goes “I assume you have a speech impediment right?” in the most straightforward form possible. And thats where I completely disconnect from reality, words stopped coming out of my mouth and I got a panic attack right at the moment. luckily my sister was also in the meeting so she was able to ask and gather information on my behalf. I dont know what’s the reason for my sudden panic attack and complete loss of words, I know I have severe social anxiety but I was already anxious from the beginning of the meeting, so him asking that question should have nothing to do with it.
