No MBA, but I do plan on pursuing an MSCM (supply chain) in the next two years. I’m in a manager role now and have been for the last two years. I shied away from leading meetings at first, but as I got more comfortable my anxieties went away by doing it. As hard as it is as first, avoid the avoidances. You already recognize and know when you avoid an interaction or word…. F*ck ‘em. What you have to say is equally as important as the next. And honestly, any stuttering makes what you have to say more memorable. What I realized in college was that nobody cares in a presentation or speech, they’re all too focused on what they are going to say to notice. I stopped apologizing for my stutter a year ago. I have absolutely nothing to apologize for and I’m not belittling myself to ease someone else’s uncomfortableness. They gotta listen. I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out/DM. Go pursue that MBA!
