In my own experience, alcohol related fluency was temporary. You can read other peoples posts about alcohol in this sub as well. Go see your doctor and talk to them about antianxiety medication. If you can achieve fluency using a prescription under the care of a doctor, that's preferable to using alcohol. The first thing alcohol impairs is judgment. Using alcohol regularly is a dangerous path to tread. I always recommend speech therapy. You've already proven you can be fluent. Ideally you should seek fluency without alcohol or medication. May I ask how old you are?
