I don't know how I feel about this. A month ago I was severe to the point of being physically unable to order at a restaurant or cafe... this happened multiple times. I would want a coffee - struggle for a minute or two - and then finally just have to point at the menu. I believe that stuttering at it's core, in its purest form - the long block - is extremely destructive to the life of an individual (at least this has been the case for me.) I do believe in fighting your stutter, and this past month I've made some excellent progress in fighting it. I don't believe every stutter is a failure - more like a challenge that I need to overcome with good technique and mindfulness. I'm not saying you're wrong - if you're willing to gratefully accept you're stutter then I think there's definitely value in that... I'm just providing an alternative perspective. I think it can be fought. I don't even think it's necessarily a part of who you are or part of a deeper "true self" - I just think it's something that you do and have the ability to change. It's a physical behavior, not a permanent aspect of the self.
