Met my husband in college through mutual friends and being in the same chem class. He didn't realize I stuttered for a while since my stutter can often be mild around people I don't know well (I guess I'm lucky that way). He certainly realized later and didn't seem to care. I do think our stutters filter out the shit people. My friends and boyfriends have always been super high-quality people.
