This sounds like a really frustrating situation. If you're like me, frustration only makes speaking more difficult. When I can't talk, or get frustrated about how I'm speaking, I will use a notepad or post-its and pencil. It levels the playing field a bit. It's also way harder to argue with a person who is writing. And if your sister's being a particular jerk, you can put the sticky note directly on her face.
