I've found that it depends on the course you study. Science and maths courses tend to have less, while social sciences and business have quite a few presentations and tutorials. I had a really nasty experience in my first presentation of university, and was so traumatised I haven't done one since (I'm a third year now), because I registered with my uni's disability and mental health people, and manage to organise an alternative assessment when a presentation pops up. However tutorials are much easier to deal with, people tend to concentrate more on what you're trying to say instead of how you're saying it. I've found that saying something easy and obvious right at the start of the tutorial relaxes you, and often means the tutor won't ask you a question again.
