Happy Holidays to you as well. I think the best advice I ever got was actually from a coach for people with parkinson's. If you don't know some people with parkinson's stutter. The guy I spoke too, is actually seeing if people who stutter are some how linked to a parkinson's gene or anything of that sorts. The way he got into it could blow someone's whole high, but the advice he gave me actually made more sense than any speech therapist I had ever had or attended. I feel like too some of these speech therapist are using this degree to make a shit load of money. A lot of health insurance companies don't cover stuttering, as it is considered a "Disorder". Which once again leaves the person having to pay for themselves. I had a speech pathologist in Florida. Tell me about this treatment called MPI-2 it's where you use a throat mic, and this program that he said his bullshit team developed. What it does is when you use the throat mic to speak. It sends wavelengths through this app. Which he can see, and tell you how to adjust the problems. Sounds like an ok idea, until you have to pay 4000 dollars. Before you can even begin this training. I found a throat mic on amazon for 30 dollars and a free app in the play store. That basically does the same damn thing. So why the fuck am I paying 4000 dollars?
