Music changed my whole way of expressing myself. I went for a captain role in yr 8 in high school and years after that had to do multiple speeches - definitely not fluent at all (30%) - but the whole school knew me as the performer in grade __ who could sing like there’s no tomorrow. I ended up being the performing arts captain in year 12, never did a speech (pressured or by choice) but performed any chance I got. Now when I go back to pick up my siblings ass the teachers, whether I had them or not, knows who I am. Amazing how our brain works and what avenues music can open up :)
