I'd advise against taking it to higher authority. You'll ended up retroactively embarrassed. This is something you're going to have to deal with forever. Best to handle internally. This is just my experience. You're teaching is hardening you now, and you'll need it later. Not saying she's doing it with your benefit in mind, but dealing with it internally will make you stronger and more resilient to this type of behavior.
