CBT as far as i know, concentrates on becoming aware of your thinking, questioning it's validity and realising that you don't have to believe it; for some that's a revelation. It was for me. Becoming more aware, in itself, can't be underestimated in it's affects on self-confidence and creating a larger perspective on life. If you've got the courage to be open to self-enquiry, only life enhancing insights await.
