I agree with you! The dysregulation could def be a factor. I was prescribed testosterone, I faked hypogonadism just because I got obsessed that higher T levels would cure my stuttering. I was very wrong, I felt constantly in fight or flight and couldn't bare with the symtoms of fluctuating hormones. So dysregulation could absolutely cause increased stuttering!
