It’s definitely disrespectful and maybe cruel to joke about someone’s speech impediment especially when it’s certainly something we dwell on psychologically. However it takes a certain level of ignorance to make those kinds of jokes, and you’ve gotta see the humor in everything, otherwise we will wallow in self pity for a long time.
