That's so cool to me. I went through the same cycle as you, almost exactly. My first name is easier to say than the name I go by, so when I'm ordering food and I need a name I usually say that. When that's not an option, I said uhhh "name" too until I finally switched to "I'm" or "hey I'm" (sometimes the addition of hey makes it easier for me too.) It still sucks a lot of times, but it's easier now. Thanks for the encouragement!
