oh, the irony.

oh, the irony. sometimes when I need a laugh I just think about the fact that my mom is a speech-language pathologist, my dad was on the radio, and I have a stutter. I think the irony of this is what's funny, because both of those professions have to do with your voice. gets me every time. It's been a long road to accepting my stutter, and I couldn't have laughed at this a year ago. just thought I'd share in case anyone else needed a laugh today. sometimes, you just have to laugh at your circumstances. glad I found this subreddit, it's nice to know that there's a community out there.
