He’s wrong, and the others on TikTok are wrong too. I saw a woman say that stuttering is a bad habit that children developed, and she could train it out of them, which is just a scam. Another one said that he “cured” his stutter, along with Tourrete’s Syndrome and BPD, and he said that stuttering is psychological, which is obviously fake. They don’t understand that stuttering is a NEUROLOGICAL disorder, just like Epilepsy, Tourrete’s Syndrome, Autism, etc. And the fact that Steve Harvey makes it seem WAY easier than it really is just screws everything up. It’s already bad enough that stuttering is very misinformed and misunderstood, but when Steve Harvey, a world-wide celebrity, says it, everything just gets worse for us. If you casually managed to “cure” your stutter in a couple days to an hour, then you most likely never even had a stutter in the first place. And the ones on tiktok make it worse too. “This herbal treatment can cure stuttering” a plant can’t cure a neurological disorder. “I am positive I found the cure to stuttering” then I would’ve heard it on the news. It isn’t simple at all. They give out all these unrealistic treatments. I saw a video saying that they cured a severe stutterer’s stutter in three days, which is obviously unrealistic.
