Hey archie, I'm a third year college student doing computer science, I know how you feel about your speech holding you back. I have so much I want to say and do, I feel like I am missing out on the college experience, not because of typical reasons such as academics or sleep but because It's so hard to get any words out. Last month my school held a huge engineering, computer science career fair with over 150 companies. I live in Seattle...the silicon forrest :P so we had intel, microsoft, amazon, cisco, expedia, evernote, ebay, tmobile, and many other tech employers. It was so hard for me to introduce myself, let alone sell my skills as a front-end web developer because of my stutter, it seemed like the recruiters thought that I was nervous because I didn't know what I was talking about. I didn't get any interviews after the fair, I actually got passed up my my less talented peers, the drink every-weekend, smoke weed and aim for B's kind of peers in my program. I too am worried about my future.
