A few touched on not knowing it was OK to stutter. I can't stress this enough. I battled with this for decades. To add on to this, if therapy is not working for her, maybe take a break. Ask her what she wants to work on. How is it effecting her? Anxiety? Fear of speaking in class? Making friends? Work on that instead. Deal with that stuff, handle avoidances, and the stuttering becomes a secondary thing, not the focus. Her stuttering is not the end of the world. Believe me, even if she has a severe stutter, the world is hers... as long as fear does not get in the way.
