Anybody else semi-comfortable stuttering in front of someone, but not when there are random bystanders there? Hey guys, so I work in retail. I’m semi-comfortable stuttering in front of my coworkers, or a customer. But I get really anxious if there are other customers standing nearby who might hear. It’s this fear that they will be minding their own business and then my stuttering will catch their attention and they’ll look over and listen. So it’s a combination between fear of stuttering, being the center of attention, and feeling like my stuttering interrupted their focus. Any advice on this fear of bystanders hearing me stutter?? Thanks
