You don’t need to speak “properly” to have human connections. I’m pretty sure people with other conditions such as having a hearing impairment can get by. You just need people who can show you empathy and patience to not degrade you for a speech impediment because they can still see you much more than that. I know it’s easier said than done but you start to realise that if you treat yourself horribly then you won’t be able to radiate any positive energy towards you. I think it’s worth looking into therapy and being open to them of experiencing severe low self-esteem. You have potential in you. It’s just about finding a way to unleash this. No, it’s not about never stuttering, it’s about still being confident regardless of stuttering.
