I cannot hide my stutter. When I did not disclose, the interview went south very quickly. When I did disclose, they stated that they admired my courage and integrity. Now more importantly, I learned that in a job interview, I am the interviewing them, not the other way. I want to be sure that I'm heading into an environment that consists of integrity and professionalism. I've had some panel HR staff laugh when I stuttered and that told me that this was not the place for me. I stood up and walked out. Just be you. If you have the KSAs (knowledge, skills and abilities) for the position, then just go for it, stutter and all. I'm entering my 20th year in this industry and making six figures. You GOT this!!!!
