Hello, I am 24M. I have attended acting classes between 11-19 and I also played in our local theatre in my country, hard to believe I guess but it is true. My teachers also told me that I should go study acting because they liked the way I was acting. So I refused because I was insecure and even though I liked the place and people, I felt constant pressure, stress almost from hiding my stutter or trying to reduce as much as possible. I just couldn’t make the choice at the time. But looking at it five-six years later, I could have just pushed myself and things would be easier, I guess. I believe that taking this big step as a stutterer would increase my self-confidence, but things went different way. I suggest you go for what you love, even if it is acting. PM if you want to know more or have any questions.
