Legally stuttering is a disability. However, it is a case by case basis a lot of the times due to stuttering effects people differently. Society has yet to accept it as a disability. For physical disabilities there are ramps and many other accommodations. Stuttering not so much. Also do we need accommodations? Would stuttering being labeled as a disability have a stigma attached to it?
