Apps that help with stutter or blocking? 6 year old with desperate parents We have a 6 year old who had a considerable stutter pretty early in life. We put him into speech therapy for several months and if helped a great deal however insurance denied all claims and we ended up having to pay over $1k a month. His therapist gave me many tools to work with him on and he did great in Kindergarten without therapy. This summer he has started to block and it is coming on quickly and pretty heavily. Our school system will only qualify kids for therapy if it is affecting their grades. He is very intelligent and his grades were fine so alas, we do not qualify for school therapy. He is in tears because he can't get his words out. He is a shy kid who we already are consistently working on self confidence. I don't want this to be a blow to his self esteem. My husband blocked for a majority of his adolescent years and has used his old tricks to help however I feel like we could use more resources. Does anyone know if there is an app that we could use nightly to work on overcoming the blocking? Thanks in advance!
