Mental loss of autonomy with stuttering Have any of you guys ever felt kind of like you have your free will stripped away from you with a stutter? I have a very bad stutter and recently with a lot of stressful person matters its amplified and gotten 10x worse than normal. I have always had a stutter but it has ups and downs but recently its one of the worst its ever been. My stutter has always not just been not being able to speak its also jaw locking and making the strangest faces while on a block and recently nothing has been able to help and it really feels like my freedom/autonomy is partly stripped away from me; a part of this could be that I am just generally a very social person but let me know about your guys’s experiences with stuttering, does it feel like your freedom is taken away?
