What are your worst stuttering experiences? I'd just like to went a little, but would love to hear other people and their experiences. Just the act of introducing myself is a pain because I have a problem saying my own name without stretching it out llllllllllllllllike this. My worst experience happened half a year ago when I moved into another apartment. A friend of a friend had helped me out with the packing and was really helpful. At the end he was standing in the hallway about to leave and I wanted to thank him for all the help. I had planned to say something like "Thank you so much for all the help, I really appreciate it." But I just stood there, shaping my lips trying to make the "th"-sound in "thank". Nothing came out. We just stared at each other for a few seconds and then he good bye and left. I really feel trapped inside of my body when things like this happen.
